Frank Edgett

Frank Edgett, 56, a lifelong resident of Lapeer, passed away on November 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born and raised in Lapeer, Frank graduated from Lapeer West High School. For 28 years, he was a hardworking and dedicated employee at Scott's Miracle-Gro in Imlay City. Frank was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa, his family was truly the center of his world. He was a best friend to all and happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, hunting, fishing, playing cards, BINGO nights, and betting on his favorite NASCAR drivers or a good horse race. Frank cherished family gatherings, where there was always laughter, good stories, and a cold beer.
Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Frank is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tammy Edgett; his children, Jessica (Chucky) Edgett, Frank (Cassidy) Edgett, Jr., and Emily Edgett; three grandchildren, Darius, Amelia, and Velicity; sisters, Tammy (Thomas) Shimmel, Loretta (Thomas) Ide, Julie (Eric) Jones, and Jennifer Edgett; also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Elizabeth Edgett; brothers, Simon Edgett & Joseph Edgett; sister June Edgett; niece Sarah Dickenson.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, November 11, from 4-8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Don Phillips will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Edgett family are appreciated.
