Frank attended William and Mary College in Virginia, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree, and received his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut. He taught, and served on the Board of Education in the Mahopac Central School District until retirement.
It was while teaching that he met Evelyn W. Wahl of Queens, NY. They were married in White Plains, NY June 24, 1962.
After graduating from William and Mary, Frank enlisted in the Army of the United States, earning a title of Specialist 3rd Class. He served from September 1955 until August 1957, and was stationed in Europe, primarily in Germany. Having a great interest in history, his experiences ignited a desire to travel, which he and Evelyn pursued for several years after retirement, traveling to many US destinations, as well as the Suez Canal.
