Gail J. Garozzo, (nee Adams) a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother passed away at Rahway Hospital on September 2, 2025. She was 71 years old.
Gail was born in Summit to John and Muriel Adams. She was raised in Union, where she graduated from Union High School. Gail worked for many years as an insurance adjuster at Milo Associates in Scotch Plains before retiring.
In 1973, Gail met the love of her life, her husband, Giovanni Garozzo. Together they raised their twin children, John and Tania in Fanwood. As a family, they would go on family vacations, such as camping, traveling to Canada and Italy. They would also attend sports events and spend family time together.
Gail will be remembered for her love of her family, animals, and spending time, as well as speaking with those she loved. She enjoyed watching her grandson, Luca, cooking, baking, watching Hallmark Channel, especially Christmas episodes, needle point, and her tv shows.
More than anything, Gail loved her family. Her children and her grandson, Luca, were truly her pride and joy.
Gail is predeceased by her parents, John and Muriel Adams, and her sister, Joan Adams. She is survived by her beloved husband, Giovanni; her sister, Bonnie Adams; her children, John Garozzo and Tania (Antoine) Ripa; and her cherished grandson, Luca Ripa.
