Gary Robert DeKeyser

It is with deep sadness; our family announces the unexpected passing of Gary Robert DeKeyser, age 58, of Bonduel, WI on July 13, 2023, as the result of a workplace accident. Gary was born Oct 12, 1964, to Marie & Lee DeKeyser. He spent his childhood in Appleton and was a graduate of East H.S in 1983. Gary furthered his education and spent 30 years as an Electrician.
Gary loved gathering with family and cherished time spent with his mom. He enjoyed camping, playing cribbage, sheepshead, pick-up games of basketball and hacking away at a golf ball with his brothers. He had a passion for John Prine and attending bluegrass music festivals with Patty, family, and friends. He was an avid Packer, Badger, Bucks and Warriors Fan! He was proud of his electrical and carpentry skills which he also shared with family, friends, and many others. Gary was a hard worker, always there to lend a helping hand.
Gary is survived by sisters: Tina (John) Siebers, and Patricia DeMarco; brothers: Rick (Linda) DeKeyser, Clint (Martha) DeKeyser, Dan (Ellen) DeKeyser; nieces and nephews: Monica, Anna, Allison, Tim, Samantha, Travis, Matt, Max, Alex, Charlie, Dustin, Ben, Chris and Alissa; Aunt Rosella, Uncle Melvin, and many cousins & friends. Cherished friends: Brian and Jennie and their children Elvin and Emmie. Gary is further survived by the love of his life and soul mate Patty Bohm. Her children: Odaya, Nahaiva, Elijah, Lillie and Isaiah. Grandchildren: Savanna, Noah, Amiyah, Jayden, Braden, Nadia, Giovanni, Lesandro, River, Violet, Kardell, Korben and Milania. Gary loved Patty's children as his own and adored the role of Papa to the grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Sal, and nephews Jake and Andy.
Gary.........we will forever miss your immense hugs and radiant smile.

A Memorial Service for Gary will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday July 21, 2023, at Brettschneider Trettin Nickel Funeral Chapel. Visitation from 4:00 pm Friday until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
