Gary Kieft Obituary
Gary Jason Peter Kieft, age 45, died in Denver, Colorado on April 19, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1979. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Denver. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served in the Air Wing of the USMC for eight years, from 1997-2005. His service included tours to the Persian Gulf as well as time in Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.
He was quite a writer. Favorite pastimes included biking and sailing. He is survived by his sister Jena, (Lance) of East Palo Alto, CA, his two brothers, Jeffrey (Donna) of S. Windsor, CT and Jesse (Christine) of Windsor, CO and his parents, Gordon and Beth Kieft of Denver. In addition, Gary had six nephews and one grand niece.
Memorial services will take place at Calvary Baptist Church of Denver (Hampden and Monaco) on May 24, 2025 at 2 p.m.
Memorial gifts may be given to Calvary Baptist Church of Denver or to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless.
