Gary L. Shutt, age 81, of Grove City, Ohio passed away on November 28, 2025. Gary was born on July 1, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Virginia Shutt.
He is lovingly survived by his wife of 40 years, Eve Shutt, sons, Bill Shutt, Bill Blevins, his favorite daughter, Patricia Owings, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gary graduated from Franklin Heights High School in 1962. Gary retired from Kroger's Bakery. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and a proud OSU alumni. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. If he didn't pick on you, it meant he didn't like you.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 for calling hours from 6pm - 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Kobacker House Hospice in honor of Gary.
