Geneva "Rosie" Stegeman

G. Roseann "Rosie" Stegeman, 59, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on August 14, 1966 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Levi and Margaret (Reed) Brewer.
Rosie was a graduate of Jefferson City High School, afterwards going to Columbia College to gain her degree in Early Childhood Education, among many other certificates that she would use in her career.
She found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. She loved spending quiet hours reading, losing herself in stories and words that brought her comfort and inspiration. Back-roading was one of her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed discovering new places, taking in the scenery, and embracing the peace found along winding country roads.
Above all, she cherished time with her family. She had a natural love for children, always patient, always kind, and always ready with a gentle word or a warm embrace. Her grandchildren held a uniquely special place in her heart. They were her greatest blessing, and she delighted in every moment spent with them, whether she was listening to their stories, cheering on their accomplishments, or simply watching them grow into the people she adored.
Her deep devotion to them brought her endless joy and filled her days with laughter, pride, and purpose. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate their milestones, comfort them in their struggles, or remind them how truly loved they were. Her family was the heart of her world, the foundation of her strength, and the source of her happiest memories. Being with them, sharing meals, stories, quiet moments, and life's little adventures, was her greatest happiness and the legacy she leaves behind.
Rosie is survived by her Husband; Kenneth (Chad) Cotton, Son; Christoper Stegeman (Sonya), Daughter; Brandi Felber, Mother; Margaret Kay Brewer, Sisters; Dianne Sackett (Ed), Tonya Rae McDonald (Candy), Sonya Kay Byrd (Chris), Grandchildren; Abel Felber, Reva Felber, Leon Stegeman, Levi Stegeman, Lilith Stegeman, and numerous adopted children.
She was preceded in death by her Father; Levi Roy Brewer, Brothers; Rodger Maze, Randy Swaim, Jimmy Brewer, Rick Brewer, Roy Brewer and Mother in law Peggy Lou Runkle
The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Harvest Time Ministries in Holts Summit, Missouri at 11:00 am, and Burial will follow at MT. Carmel Cemetery in Fulton, Missouri.
