George S. Brown

George S. Brown, age 76 of South Easton, passed away at his home on November 30, 2025.
Born in Norwood, he was the son of the late Sidney and Isabel (McBurney) Brown.
George was raised in Dedham, a graduate of Dedham High School and attended UMass Amherst.
A veteran of the United States Army, George served and obtained the rank of staff sergeant.
He was formerly employed as a general manager in the restaurant industry for many years.
George was active in the Boy Scouts in Dedham. He became Troop 8's first Eagle Scout in 1966 and later became the troop leader. He spent several summers at the Adams Pond Scout Camp in Barnstead, NH as a counselor and archery instructor.
George was past master counselor at the Dedham Chapter of DeMolay. He also was a Rolling Pines Trustee (the Governor).
He is survived by his sister, Claudia W. Brown of South Carolina and his dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton MA on Monday, December 8th at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
