A loving and proud father, George always put his family first. His grandchildren were the light of his life. He was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure.
George is survived by his loving children Rose (John) Chesney, Georgette (Rich) Luster, and John Gherman, and his grandchildren, Joshua and Elise Chesney and Taylor and Morgan Luster. He is also survived by his siblings, Paulina (the late Florea) and Nelica (Nichole) Todea and many loved ones and friends. George is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Rose Gherman, and his brother Nichole Gherman.
Family and friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Thursday, July 13th, 4-7pm with a Saracusta at 7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Church, 1850 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, MI 48085 on Friday, July 14th, at 10am. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
