George attended high school at the Southwestern Bible Institute in Waxahachie, Texas from 1957-1960. On February 21, 2004, George married Joan Kinsell Treadwell and moved to Driftwood, Texas where he founded and served as the President and CEO of the Aquifer, a spiritual recharge zone for pastors and missionaries. Most recently and until he passed, he hosted a Men's Breakfast/Bible Study every Tuesday morning in the Dewberry Lodge located at the Aquifer where he continued his legacy French toast.
