George Louis Hauersperger

George Louis Hauersperger, age 77 of Saucier, was born on July 25, 1944, to John and Dorothy Hauersperger in Kankakee, IL. George passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, on March 14, 2022. George was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was the loving and devoted husband of his wife, Sandra Saucier Hauersperger; beloved father of daughter, Victoria Ozenghar, Amanda (Dewayne) Canterberry, Ashley (Brad) Moye, Adonna Disbrow, and Aretha (Caleb) Cuevas; the best papa that eight grandchildren could've asked for, Layne, Brooke, Evan Turan, Avery, Addison, and Colston Moye, Holden, and Callan Cuevas.
George will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews he loved dearly, his brother-in-law, Dawayne Saucier; sisters-in-laws, Donna Saucier, Janet Hauersperger, and Tracey (Joe) Wolfe; Special brother-in-law, Jodee Benoit; his hunting buddy and shooting partner in crime and best friend, Ralph Head. George loved to work and loved his coworkers. Three who stood out as his friends, Chris Hopkins, who served as his best man, Lee May, and Lawrence Smith, whom he loved as a son. George loved life with his family. He loved travelling with his wife, which they did often, and spending time with his grandkids, which was his favorite of all time. George was loved and loved in return.
George was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joan; his son, Heath Louis; brother, Jack Hauersperger, and sister, Sharon Arseneau.
God be with you till we meet again. The family would like to thank Dr. Allen, Dr. Dedevaul, Dr. Wall, Dr. Payment, and the Kare-In-Home Hospice nurses Bev and Gloria for the care provided during this time.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport. A burial will follow the service at Head Cemetery in Poplarville, MS.
