Kelly (Gaidies) Hauersperger, age 58, of Boone, Iowa formerly of Creston, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Boone County Memorial Hospital. Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston. Father Patrick Amedeka, Celebrant. Family visitation will follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall. A private burial will be at a later date. Memorials will be determined by the family. Memories and condolences can be shared online at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com. The family is in charge of the arrangements.
Kelly was born November 25, 1964 in Creston to Gary R. Gaidies and Cheri Steele Gaidies Finken. She attended Creston Schools and graduated from Creston High School in 1983. She was married to the love of her life, Harry Hauersperger, for 36 years. Kelly was an avid quilter and gardener and enjoyed traveling with Harry on little adventures.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Cheri Finken of Creston; brothers, Scott Gaidies (Jill) of Creston, Ryan Finken (Mary Claire) of West Des Moines; nieces and nephews, Kyle Gaidies, Lexi Gaidies Wambold, and Sophie Finken; aunts and uncles, Linda Gaidies Whisler, Sharon Gaidies Jergens, and Ron Gaidies, Sue Steele Howard and Mark Steele; special friend, Donna Eddy, and many more friends. Those preceding her in death are: father, Gary R. Gaidies; step-father, Bob Finken; mother-in-law, Rita Hauersperger; sister-in-law, Ann Hauersperger; grandparents, Bill and Doris Steele and John and Phoebe Gaidies.
