George Ruiz, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025.
A proud graduate of Paint Rock ISD, Class of 1979, George lived his life with energy, heart, and a hands-on spirit. Known for his talent as a handyman, he had a gift for fixing just about anything—and he did it with patience and pride.
George is survived by his beloved children: Lisa, Sylvia, and Robert, as well as numerous grandchildren and his cherished great-grandson, Mateo Jorge Ruiz. His family was his greatest joy, and he loved each of them deeply.
He will be remembered for his lively personality, his hard work, and the way he embraced life to the fullest. Whether he was lending a helping hand, sharing a laugh, or enjoying a quiet moment with family, George’s presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
On Saturday, July 19th, 2025, there will be a graveside at 11:30 am at the Paint Rock Cemetery. The family would like for everyone to join them for a gathering following the interment at the Paint Rock Community Church Hall.
The family thanks everyone for their love and support during this time.
