George Snow Obituary

George was a father of 5, grandfather of 8, and great-grandfather to 1. He enjoyed fishing and horseback riding on the mountain trails of Tennessee, and playing with his dogs. But mostly this one-time plumber became a pillar of hope and compassion to those suffering from alcohol and substance abuse. Himself 59-plus years sober. George started the first Out Patient Rehab for Alcohol and Substance Abuse in Cookeville, Tennessee in 1989. REBOS on 4th street.
A Celebration Of Life is scheduled for the middle of May, with the date, place and time to be announced.

George and I went to Atlanta for the AA International. George had celebrated 50 years of sobriety. He shared his memories of his time in AA. What an honor to hear his life´s story.
