Gerald Allen Hallmann, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 91 years of age.

Gerald “Jerry” is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Sharon (Sandleback) Hallmann; their two sons, Alan (Cheryl) Hallmann of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Gary (Betty) Hallmann of Beloit, WI; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, Neil Hallmann (41) of Appleton, WI, Natasha Hallmann (36) of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Camila Hallmann (23) of Beloit, WI, Cody Moore (31) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Raquel Moore (29) of Jeffersonville, IN; one great-granddaughter, Audra Hallmann of Appleton, WI; brothers, Donald (Fern) Hallmann of Thiensville, WI and Dale Hallmann of Princeton, WI. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Ida Hallmann of Neshkoro, WI and his brother Harlan (Kay) Hallmann of Princeton, WI. 

Jerry grew up in the Green Lake, WI area and attended high school there before joining the U.S. Air Force. Jerry and Sharon eventually made their home in the Fond du Lac, WI area for over 40 years and in 2008 moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL

Jerry was a retired test and development engineer from Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, WI. He enjoyed working outdoors on lawn and garden projects, carpentry projects and crossword puzzles. In recent years, his favorite hobby was going fishing with his sons. 

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971, with Rev. Donald Deike officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of the service.
