A graveside service will be held at All Souls Cemetery in Rudolph, Wisconsin, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 12pm.
Gerald was born on November 9, 1934, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Harold and Bernice (Akey) Zimmerman. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. Gerald was self-employed and had a truck repair business, until retiring in 2015.
Gerald had a keen sense of humor, adored his dog Honey, and loved visiting his friends and family. He enjoyed driving anything with a motor, fixing motors, NASCAR, meat & cheese and living in Alaska.
Gerald is survived by his children, April Zimmerman, Scott Zimmerman, Terri Kaye and Sherri (Ian) Barry; grandchildren, Kristen Whitehurst, Katie Pavel and Andrew Zimmerman; great-grandchildren, Archer, Victor and Theodore Whitehurst; and siblings, Bruce Zimmerman and Lynn Frost. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is assisting the family with arrangements.
