Gerry Hostetler, 74, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully in her home on Sunday, August 17th.
Gerry was born August 6th, 1951 in Boise Idaho. Living here for the majority of her life, she was fiercely proud of her Boise High heritage, loved watching Boise State football, and would never turn down the opportunity to go camping anywhere in this beautiful state.

Bowling was a huge part of her life as well, Starting early in her adulthood, time spent on the lanes with her family was cherished time together. As her daughter Brandi grew, she chauffeured her and many other junior bowlers all around the western US to tournaments, creating memories, friendships, and stories. She participated in over 30 national bowling tournaments, from coast to coast, and was so honored to be inducted into the Boise Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame with her daughter Brandi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, and sister. She is survived by her daughter Brandi and son-in-law Jeff Hawkins, grandson Orrin Hawkins, sister Kathy Zancker, numerous precious nieces and nephews, cherished cousins, and countless friends.
