She spent many years in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she met and married her husband of 45 years. Gigi was an avid lover of the outdoors with a genuine affection for her many pets. She had a passion for biology and enjoyed a long career in floral design, creating one of the most beautiful gardens in her Fairfield neighborhood.
Gigi is survived by her husband, Keith Sewyn Walker; her sister, Cathy Simocko-Smith; her brother, Robert Christopher Simocko; her sister, Debbie Bermudes, and her husband, Peter; and her niece, Alexandra Zeleta. Nieces Laura Simocko and Maya Bermudes, and nephews Chet Simocko and Galen Bermudes. All services will be held privately.
