With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and husband Glen Calvin Collins, who left us on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on June 13, 1956, in Downey, California, he lived a life marked by strength, humor, and an unwavering love for his family.
He leaves behind his wife and love of his life: Tauna Collins of Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was the proud father of three daughters: Jade Collins of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kalahni Collins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Amanda Collins of Minden, Louisiana.
His grandchildren; Hunter Cook of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Braxton Collins, Weston Raper, and Adelyn Raper of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Memphis Crain and Hayden Crain of Arkansas, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ronald Collins and June (Gibson) Collins, and his two brothers Randy Collins and David Collins.
A natural problem-solver and craftsman, he loved fixing things and had a deep passion for woodworking. Whether building something from scratch or repairing what others thought was beyond saving, he found joy in working with his hands and took pride in everything he created. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, proudly serving his county. He remained a die-hard Arkansas Razorback fan throughout his life. Those who knew him will remember his generous spirit, sharp wit, and ability to make everyone feel at home. He was a guiding hand, a quiet protector, and the heart of our family. We find comfort in knowing he is at peace and will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
A memorial service celebrating Glen’s life will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Cameron Bluff Recreation Area in Paris, AR.
