Glenda Ruth Fuss, age 70, of Woodstock, GA, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. Glenda was born on March 2, 1955, in Atlanta, GA, to John Henry and Grace Standridge.

On May 24, 1975, Glenda married the love of her life, Bert Fuss. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and devotion. Just a few months ago, they joyfully celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Glenda found her greatest joy in being a wife and mother. She poured her heart into raising her two daughters, Allison and Ashley, and later into spoiling her beloved "granddogs," Yogi and Cooper. She loved the simple, beautiful moments, sitting on her back porch, admiring her flowers, and spending time with those she held close.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Grace Standridge, her brother Junior, and many other distant relatives. She is survived by her devoted husband Bert, her daughters Allison and Ashley, and her brother Michael Standridge, who will miss her deeply.
A memorial service to celebrate Glenda's life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 am, with a visitation starting at 10:00 am before the service, at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Grace Community Church, 7770 Hickory Flat Hwy, Woodstock, GA 30188, or online at gcchf.org, in honor of Glenda's faith and love for her church family.

The Stettner family is so saddened for your loss. We know Mr. Burt because he's our kids bus driver. They absolutely love him. It takes special people to stay married and in love for that long! She had to be a special lady because our kids noticed how he always wanted to take care of his wife. RIP
