Glenn Rairigh Obituary

Born January 17, 1950 in Natrona Heights, he was the son of the late Robert Lloyd Rairigh & Eve (Dixon) Rairigh.
Glenn was a 1968 graduate of Kiski Area High School, where he participated on the rifle team. After high school, he studied architecture. Glenn served our country with the United States Navy.
He was employed by People's Gas for 25 years, starting in maintenance and working his way up to field specialist. When his sons were younger, he volunteered as a leader and treasurer with the former Boy Scouts Troop #501 in Washington Township.
Glenn was an avid hunter and gun collector, and liked going to the Bonfire Restaurant and have his favorite- Fish On A Dish. Glenn most loved being with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy F. (Ferguson) Rairigh, who passed away on December 8, 2012; and his brother, Jim Rairigh.
Glenn is survived by his children, Carl R. (Kristen) Rairigh of Bell Township, Ruth E. Rairigh of Washington Township, Helen Blystone of Saltsburg, Donald G. (Elizabeth) Rairigh of Vandergrift, Mary E. (Jason) Rossi of Bell Township, Scott A. (Dawn) Rairigh of Washington Township; grandchildren, Desiree, Amber, Magnolia, Graciebelle, Payton, Logan, Cloie, Austin, Jaycen, Larissa, Rachel; great-grandson, Bennett L.; sister, Ethel (Jane) Stearman of Kepple Hill; brother, James (Diane) Rairigh of Lower Burrell; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will be private.
