Gloria Bruesewitz Obituary
Gloria M. Bruesewitz, 96, formerly of West Bend went home to her Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Pavilion at Glacier Valley in Slinger. She was born on February 2, 1929 in the Town of Polk, the daughter of Jacob and Lena (nee Geminden) Barwind.
On December 14, 1956, Gloria was united in marriage to Leroy Bruesewitz at Peace Reformed Church in Jackson. She worked at Amity Leather Products in West Bend from 1953 until retiring in 1994. Gloria was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport. Gloria loved flowers but her greatest joy was time spent with family, especially her great grandsons.
Survivors include her son Scot (Mary Anne) Bruesewitz, granddaughter Amanda (Tom) Ramthun, grandson Jared (fiancée Laura) Bruesewitz, great-grandsons Joshua Anthony, Nathaniel, Christopher, Matthew and Jacob Ramthun, other relatives and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Leroy, parents Jacob and Lena, great grandson Francis and brother Harry Barwind.
Visitation for Gloria will be Wednesday, August 27th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport.
A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 27th at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Cerny officiating. Interment will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
The family extends a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the Pavillion at Glacier Valley and Allay Hospice for the care and concern shown Gloria.
