Larry Gregory Greenway, 64, died at his home in Henderson, on September 23, 2025. He was born on April 21, 1961, to Larry Daniel and Betty Ann Tallent Greenway in Summerville, Georgia. He had been a resident of Henderson for more than 30 years.
Greg (as he was known to his family) was a quintessential salesman, and spent most of his career with Altria, a Fortune 500 company that owns some of the most enduring brands in American business. He had the gifts of easy gab and human connection that are essential to success in sales. For more than five years he has served as president of sales for Vitamin Energy, a startup food and beverage company, providing significant guidance and direction in its efforts to grow into a national brand. His family and friends will miss his wit, zest for life, and optimism, but they are comforted in knowing he is safe in the arms of Jesus, his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son Joshua and his father. He is survived by his wife Barbara to whom he was married for 41 years, his daughter Lauren, his son Jake and daughter-in-law Torie, granddaughter Avery and grandson Luca, his mother, his brother Jeff and sister-in-law Kerri, his sister Danielle and brother-in-law Will, and seven beautiful nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Greg's life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 26, 2025, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – East Main Chapel with burial to follow at Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at East Main beginning at 10 AM Friday, until service time at 2 PM.
