Guy Souva Obituary
Guy George Souva passed away after a short illness surrounded by his family, on March 18, 2024. Guy was born, to the late Edgar and Georgia Souva. He is preceded in death by his son Daniel Souva, his cousins Michelle Nefsy and Ronnie Ledbetter.
Guy is survived by his children, Aaron Wnorowski and her husband Keith; David Souva and his significant other Katie Wagner; five grandchildren Angelique, Danielle, Mia, Zoe Wnorowski and Gaige Souva; brothers, Terry and Jeff Souva; and sisters, Cherie Wingo, Renee Souva, and Deanna Gentry and her husband Ronnie.
Guy grew up on a dairy farm on Tug Hill in Lowville New York, where he learned to tend the herd, grow vegetables, ride snowmobiles while developing a love for nature. Guy loved hanging out with his friends and family, enjoyed playing games, and was an avid Giants fan. He enjoyed reading, hiking the nature trails and movies. Guy's free spirit, his movie commentaries and sense of humor made it a joy to be with him. He will be sorely missed by us all.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2023 at the Frederica Vol. Fire Co., Inc, 6 Front Street, Frederica, DE at 11 AM.

Guy and I met through Schodack Valley Fire Company in the late 70´s. We became close friends along with his family- Pat, Danny and Aaron. We had a lot of fun together and I even traveled to Delaware a few times after they moved there from NY to hang out. I used to write letters with Pat for awhile but once I got married and had kids I lost track. I always thought we would get together again and have a beer and talk rock n roll. I lost a trivia question to Guy and had to buy him an album - Pink Floyd´s Dark Side of the Moon. Miss you Guy. RIP my friend. George Smith
