Hal "Roger" Beavers, Jr., 66, of Siler City, NC, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
Roger was born September 26, 1958, to the late Hal Roger Beavers, Sr., and the late Evelyn Mae Allen Beavers. Roger was a 1976 graduate of Chatham Central High School, where he played baseball. He went on to receive his associate degree and then began working as a Bus Driver for the city of Chapel Hill. Roger loved the outdoors. His favorite times were spent camping, hiking, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Beavers.
Roger is survived y his wife, Cornelia Foust Bridges Beavers; son, Hal Roger Beavers, III "Trea" and wife, Alexandria; grandsons, Truitt and Lane Beavers; stepsons, Wesley Bridges and wife, Emily and CJ Foust; brother, Darrell Beavers and wife, Kayla; sisters, Lisa Allison and husband, Todd, and Angela Montgomery; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Howard Blough officiating.
In lieu of flowers, honorariums may be made to the family.
Smith and Buckner Funeral Home is serving the Beavers family.
