Harrison Wayne Leff departed this earth to be with his Lord and Savior on April 28, 2024. He was born in Mobile, AL, on May 25, 1993. Harrison was the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wayne Leff (Tonya McDonald) of Mobile, AL. He graduated from Mobile Christian School in 2012 and attended the University of South Alabama.
Throughout his life, Harrison was known for his positive attitude. He was passionate about sports, his family, and approached any obstacle set before him with a "never quit" attitude; his enthusiasm was infectious. Harrison's love for life and tenacious spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone he met during his 30 years. He loved Mobile Christian School, and cherished his time spent with Joey Adams and the MCS staff.
Harrison received the best care from Dr. Randy Dotson, Tony Tice, Dr. Bindon, the staff at Springhill Hospital and many others. He and his family will be forever grateful for their support over the years.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne Leff, grandparents, William (Phyllis) McDonald, uncles, Mitchell McDonald, William Floyd McDonald Jr., Richard Daryl McDonald Sr., William Ronald McDonald, and Micheal Elliot Leff. He is survived by his mother, Tonya Leff, sister, Meagan (Will) Dannelley, nephews, Jack and David Michael Dannelley, grandfather, Jerry Leff, great uncle, Allan (Melissa) Crow, great aunt, Judy Crow Sherman, uncles, Christopher McDonald, Randy McDonald and Jay (Sandy) Leff, aunts, Carol (Harold) Stoudenmier, Brenda (Tony) Cazalas, Wanda Burch, and Cynthia (Wayne) Shortridge, and many other cousins, relatives and friends.
A visitation service will be held in his honor at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 6040 Three Notch Road Mobile, AL 36619 on May 2, 2024, from 5:00-9:00 pm. The Memorial Service will be held on May 3, 2024, at 10:00 am at Praise Family Church 2605 Dawes Road Mobile, AL 36695, followed by burial at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harrison's honor to the Mobile Christian School Harrison Leff Heart of the Leopard Award.
Pallbearers are Will Dannelley, Aaron Myers, Josh McNickle, Sam White, Brandon Lunceford and Jake Robbins. The honorary pallbearers include Matthew Moore and Harrison's medical team.
