Harry Dean Conroy

Harry Dean Conroy, 69, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born Wednesday, April 13, 1955 in Ironton, Ohio, one of ten children to the late Joseph and Martha Ferguson Conroy. Harry was a diesel mechanic at the Ashland Oil Coal Dock and enjoyed working on cars and getting to spend time with his loving family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 38 years, Teresa McKown Conroy; two brothers, Richard Conroy and Roger Conroy; two sisters, Patty Wilson and Sheila Conroy; and a grandson, Conner Robbins. Harry is survived by a son, Michael (Alyssa) Conroy of Lexington, Kentucky; a daughter, Heather (Sean Shields) Neal of Wurtland, Kentucky; two brothers, Joe (Judy) Conroy of Ironton, Ohio, and Bill (Sharon) Conroy of North Carolina; three sisters, Marsha (Gary) Shumway of Ironton, Ohio, Tina (Forrest) Kerns of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, and Janice (Jim) Blevin of West Virginia; two grandsons, Camron Neal and Tyler Neal; a great-grandson, Atticus Neal; a sister-in-law Shari Morrison; a host of nieces and nephews that he greatly loved; and his cherished dog, Fuzzy. A funeral service for Harry will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Miller Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
