Harry "Bud" Kasdorf, 86, formerly of Marlette passed away on February 6, 2025 at United Hospice of Marlette Aspire.
Bud was born on January 8, 1939 in Brown City, Michigan to the late Morrell and Elizabeth (Allen) Kasdorf. He was the head grocer at Kroger in Marlette for 30 years. After his retirement, he became the caretaker at the Secaw Lodge in Gaylord, Michigan where he worked for more than 30 years. Bud was a jokster and one of his favorite past times was to sit around a campfire and tell stories.
Bud is survived by his children, Randy (Penny) Kasdorf, Bob (Tracy) Kasdorf and Deb Chard (Ed); step-children, Jody (Dan) Clothier, Jack Callender and Marty Callender; grandchildren, Kim (Lee), Amy, Ashley (Tim) Kaydon, Doug, Clay (Rachael); step grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, Jessica, Julie, Katy, Kelly, Amanda and James; great- grandchildren, Isaiah, Ashlyn, Brandon, Andrew, Lena and Henry; great-great grandchild, Willa; siblings, Jack (Jan) and Bill (Molly); extended family, Jeff and Liz Barker, Matthew, Brooke and Sam; and his dog, Sis.
Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy in 2023; grandson, Tyler; step-grandson, Michael; and brother, Larry.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.
