Harvey Lee Bray, Jr., 74, of Carrabelle, passed away peacefully at his Carrabelle home, with family on November 5, 2021. He was born January 14, 1947, in Mobile, Alabama. He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey Lee Bray, Sr. & Earline Bray and daughter Ashly Schell. Harvey retired from Buckeye Cellulose in Perry, Florida. During his retirement he enjoyed traveling, spending time with family at the beach, carpentry, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Kris Bray, children Rich Bray, Krissy Monroe (Stephen), Ricky Schell and Jeremy Schell; sister Patricia Bragdon (Robert), sister-in-law Sandy Hendry (Larry), brother-in-law Dale Krejcar, Jr.(Melissa); 4 grandchildren Blake Monroe (Emily), James Monroe, Mekailyn Schell (Cyndel) and Trentin Schell(Sissy); nieces Marci Mooney(Christan, Dustin) Kristy Blanchett (Brian, Houston, and Maizie) Erica Ward (Daniel, Gracie, Brody and Emma); nephew Trey Krejcar; father-in-law Dale Krejcar Sr. (Judy).
When diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, Harvey spent his final days connecting with family and friends, while fulfilling his bucket list with his best friend and brother-in-law, Larry Hendry.
Harvey's deep Christian faith provided him comfort throughout his illness, and he knew that our Lord Jesus Christ would provide saving grace.
Honoring his wishes, there will be no formal services. Final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Carrabelle.
