Heath Jacob Armbruster, a loving husband, father, son, and brother, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023, in
Pearl River, Louisiana. Born on November 23, 1977, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Heath was 45 years old at the time of his passing.
Heath is the beloved son of Mary Heath Cinque and the late Michael Phillip Armbruster Sr. He was also the cherished stepson of John William Cinque. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jacqulyn Joyce Armbruster, and their children, Alexander Jacob Armbruster, Mason Michael Armbruster, Tristan William Sechrest (stepson), and Tori Rushing. Heath was a caring brother to Jennifer Patricia Thomas and the late Michael Phillip Armbruster Jr.
Heath received his education in Industrial Engineering from Nunez College. His keen mind and dedicated work ethic led him to a fulfilling career at Textron Marine and Land Systems in New Orleans. He often expressed his appreciation for his colleagues, who he considered not just as co-workers, but also as friends.
Heath was a man of many passions. He loved spending all his free time with his family, taking joy in the simplest of moments. He was a devoted father and husband, always prioritizing his family's happiness above all else. Among his favorite family activities, he enjoyed cooking and working on the family farm. His love for horses was shown in his work with the Honey Island Clydesdales as one of the main team members preparing the horses for many Mardi Gras parades.
Heath was also a fitness enthusiast who loved to start each day with a session at the gym. He believed in the importance of physical health and passed on this belief to his children, often encouraging them to join him in his daily workouts.
Heath's love for his hometown was evident in his unwavering support for the New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed watching their games, often turning these events into family gatherings filled with laughter, friendly competition, and of course, good food. His music preference was George Strait, as he would state that he was "the man", along with a wide variety of genres of music.
In addition to his many endearing qualities, Heath will be remembered for his quick-witted humor. He was a man who lived life to the fullest, with a deep love for his family and his community. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. His legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to family will continue to be an inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, July 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A Funeral Mass will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Thompson Center for Autism located at 2217 Second Street
