Muncie – Heidi Lynn Vaughn 61, passed away on February 8, 2023. She was born on March 1, 1961 to the late Eddie and Karen Boyle.
Heidi graduated from Muncie Central High School and then studied at Green River community college where she obtained a certificated as an Emergency Medical Technician. She then worked to become a CNA followed by he obtaining her QMA license. Heidi spent her live caring for and about others.
Heidi met the one real true love of her life and later married the late David Vaughn on February 8, 1993. On the date of her passing she went to join David of what would have been their thirtieth wedding anniversary, and no doubt shared a dance listening to "The Dance" by Garth Brooks.
Heidi loves her church and all of the people she has met over the years and we extremely dedicated and proud of being a Pentecostal woman. She loved Garth Brooks, fishing, and shopping for clothes. Whenever she had any free time away from work, she loved taking the boys to Muncie reservoir and going out on the pontoon.
To know Heidi was to love her, not a soul on earth was ever a stranger to her. She is loved and will greatly missed by all of us.
Heidi is survived by sons, Keith Boyle and Kristopher Kirk; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Kim, Melinda, and Deidre.
Heidi was preceded by her parents and husband; son, Joshua Kirk; sisters, Lori and Rhonda.
A celebration of life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.
