Helen S. Fletcher

Helen S. Fletcher, age 97 of Newton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Bristol Glen in Newton. Born in Franklin to the late Paul and Elizabeth Swetz, Helen grew up in Franklin and lived in Sparta and Fredon, before settling in Bristol Glen six years ago. Helen worked for the Franklin Bank before becoming the bookkeeper for her late husband's business, Technology General. She bowled at Sparta Lanes and was one of Sussex County's best bowlers. Helen was gifted at Needlepoint, for which she won prizes at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show. She was also a member of the Newton Country Club. Predeceased by her parents; husband Charles Fletcher; and siblings Edward, Michael, Joseph, Betty, and Rosemary, Helen is survived by her two children Jeffrey Fletcher (Judith) and Mark Fletcher (Denise); and her granddaughter Haley (Brian). Visitation for Helen will be held on Tuesday November 18th 2025, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin, NJ 07416. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 10 AM at the Immaculate Conception RC Church in Franklin. Entombment in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum will follow.
