Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Covenant Healthcare, at the age of 78. Helen was born on August 1, 1946, in Warren, Michigan, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Skoronski) Ward. Helen was united in marriage to Michael Rawley on May 31, 1985, in Saginaw, Michigan; he survives her. Helen enjoyed camping, especially with her family and friends. Collecting lighthouses and traveling to see them. She also enjoyed her flower garden. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Helen is survived by her loving husband; Mike, son; David (Leah) Chitwood, granddaughter; Rebecca (Timothy Parks) Chitwood, four great-grandchildren; Lucas, Nicholas, Lillian and Brantley, two sisters; Margaret (Glen) Watson and Anne (Lewis) Riffe, best friend; Jacqueline Garchow and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Anne Chitwood and a brother, James John Ward, Jr.
In Keeping with Helen's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or the Wishes of the Rawley Family.
