My sincerest condolences to Henry Blyden's family and friends. I knew Mr. Blyden only slightly from our many conversations we had when he would come to the Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Public Library and visit the African American Cultural Resource Center. He greeted everyone with a big smile and an open heart. His kindness added so much to our world. He will be missed very much!!!

Henry Blyden was a champion for causes in his community, and always willing to help. He was there for me, when my dear late husband, Aaron passed away. May Henry Blyden rest in peace forever in God's
hands.

Pray God gives you comfort in this difficult time. Henry was a special person and had a generous heart especially for the kids whom he mentored but more than that he was a child of God. I will miss him.

Henry was a true force, he was a mentor, friend and hero to me
Without Henry recruiting me into the Army Military Police I don´t know where or who I would be today.
I will always love and remember Henry.
Praying for family and friends.
