Henry Erwin Damm

Henry Erwin Damm, a devoted husband, father, and grandpa, passed away unexpectedly on April 5th, 2024, at the age of 63. Born in Fresno, California on July 1st, 1961, to Earl and Beatrice Damm, Henry was the youngest of three brothers, Clinton, Herbert, and Roland Damm, and one half-sister, Lois Salyers.
He is survived by his wife of many years; Beverly Damm; his children, Sarah Albright (and husband Jeremy), Jason Damm (and wife Kara), Kevin Damm (and wife Katy), and Kelly Stoltenberg (and husband Peter); his nine cherished grandchildren; and all three of his brothers.
Henry's life revolved around his faith in Christ and his love for his family. He was a protector, always dropping everything to be there for those he loved, no matter the distance, cost or circumstance. Henry's genuine warmth and humor allowed him to
connect with anyone he met. This same people-first approach led him to success for 36 years at his business, Big Bore Drilling. He generously used his business to bless others and impact the Kingdom.
Henry was the life of the party, known for his jokes and pranks that brought smiles to everyone's faces. He and Bev created countless memories with friends and family during camping trips, stays at their Hume Lake cabin, and boating adventures. Their travel took them around the world, fueled by Henry's unquenchable thirst for adventure.
A lifelong boat enthusiast, Henry first purchased a Jet Ski at 18, igniting a passion that continued throughout his life. He loved using his boat to teach, love, and spend time with his children. He also used his boat to serve the Kingdom and took many youth groups out on the water, earning him the title of "the best Dad to drive the boat for an epic tubing session!". Whether it was driving the boat, skiing or wakeboarding behind it, exploring on jeeps or ATVs, hunting, fishing, or skeet shooting, Henry was always up for an adventure.
Henry's sudden passing from a heart attack leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
