I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Hadleys's passing. I have had the privilege of having him as my teacher and also working with him at Bristol Public Library. The one thing I could never do was call him by his first name. I have so much respect for him. He will be greatly missed by this hillbilly.

So sorry to hear of Herb's passing. I had Herb for American Government class back in 1966 or 67. Herb was the man who inspired me to become a teacher. In later years, I always enjoyed talking with him. He was a special man. His loss will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Herb,
I am very sorry that you passed away. I remember back in the early to mid 90s when we lived at my old apartment house on Washington in Niles the upstairs and downstairs you and your wife Joy came over to visit and then I saw and talked too you a few times in between that. You had lived a long life which was good and was a teacher for many years as well. My regards go to your wife, your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and now that your gone by all means Rest In Peace.

We were saddened to hear of Herb´s passing. He was such a great guy and fun neighbor to have for many years here in Bristolville. We remember Herb wanting to borrow our Harley to ride up and down the hallways at school upon his retirement. He laughed and decided for a more quiet exit! He will be missed, but never forgotten.

I had the pleasure of teaching with Herb at Bristolville High School and also of having his daughters in my English class . He was a wonderful man: a loving husband and father and a dedicated teacher . The thing I remember most about Herb was his smile and his laugh . He was a helpful and caring colleague . May he Rest In Peace .
Sincerely , Cathy Williams
