Herbert Lee Johnson Jr. " June Bug", was born on August 20, 1957, to the late Hurbert Lee Johnson Sr. and Della Mae (Tramill) Johnson in Henderson, Ky. He gained his wings and departed this Life on August 21, 2024.
He was employed at Henderson Community College for over 50 years. When he wasn't at work, he enjoyed gardening and yard work. He was a hard worker who was truly loved and will be missed dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tonya Yvonne Johnson; and brother, Gary Wayne Johnson.
Herbert is survived by his wife of 25 years, Thelma Joyce Johnson; three step-daughters, Brittany (Orrie) Phillips, Monica Green, and Teshea Ford; one step-son, Frederico Ford all of Henderson Ky; three sisters, Ruby Lee Johnson, Ella Mae Stewart, and Mary Alice (Kenneth) Dixon all of Henderson, Ky; one brother, Terry Johnson of Dallas, Texas; seven step-grandchildren; aunts, uncles, four nieces, two nephews, six great nieces, three great nephews, and a host of many Cousins.
