Herbert Christian Link Jr (9/5/62 – 9/17/23)
We lost a beautiful soul on Sunday September 17, 2023.
He was known by those who knew and loved him as Chris, Uncle Bushy and Scooby. He was also known by many in the town of Plymouth as the Dog Walker. It wasn't unusual at times to see him walking many dogs at once throughout the town or driving with a load of dogs in the car. Chris loved skiing, snowmobiling, skate sailing, water skiing, fishing, and being with his family and friends. Chris loved listening to music and could often be found at the Flying Monkey in town. Chris also had an associate degree from a Community College in Connecticut.
Chris was a wonderful uncle and was affectionately called Uncle Bushy to the children in our family and extended family. He loved them dearly.
Chris was a loving son to Judith G Link and his pre-deceased father Herbert Christian Link Sr, a beloved brother to his sisters and their spouses, Debbie Link (Alice Bowen), Cathy Brennan (Tim Brennan), and Karen Andrews (Robert Andrews), a cherished uncle to both his nephew Alex Holland and his niece Ashley Holland and a wonderful great uncle to Parker Hanson. He was also a dear friend to many, many people whose lives he touched.
Chris will be missed greatly but never forgotten.
A celebration of Chris's life will be held at the Grotto in Plymouth, NH on Saturday, September 23rd from 12:30pm to 3:30pm.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the New Hampshire ASPCA https://nhspca.org/donate-today/ or a charity of one's choice.

I remember the first time I met Chris. He was so down-to-earth and friendly. I knew right then and there we were gonna be friends. I used to get him salads at Panther Pub and he would share his fries with me. We talked about music. I am a singer and we would talk a lot about music together. He was funny and sincere. Love ya, Chris. God be with you

My heart and prayers go out to the Link family his Mom, Debbie, Cathy, Karen.
I went to grade school, middle school and graduated from Masuk High School in Monroe Connecticut with Chris. He was true friend. We used to play wiffle ball, basketball, football and ping pong at his house and mine. He was very competitive. We used to be at each other´s homes all the time. My dad loved him, used to call him Linko ! He called my dad "Big O" and me MO. I would get a phone call and I´d hear hey MO what´s going on let´s play some hoops.
Chris eventually moved from Connecticut we would occasionally speak on the phone. I remember getting a call from him when I became a Police Officer in 1985 he was as happy for me as I was. I can go on and I of the fun and fond memories of my friend Chris !
With love !
Sincerely,
Chief Mark O´Donnell
