Heru Wind Stone Dihaan

NORTH HAMPTON / WINSTED -
Heru Wind Stone Dihaan, 19, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 29, 2024. Born January 24, 2005 in Brooklyn; the son of Jennifer (Chamberlain) Lippmann and her husband John and the late Najil Dihaan.
Heru grew up in Winsted and Northfield Ma and Jacksonville Vt. He attended Batchelor School,St. Anthony's School, the Center School in Greenfield Ma and Gilbert High School. He enjoyed swimming, playing video and board games and loved being with his friends. He was an avid reader so passionate about books he planned to be a Librarian. His theater teacher at the Center School said that out of his 20 years in theater, Heru was one of a handful of students that was such a gifted and extraordinary actor.
In his younger years, he was an avid Legos builder and collected Penguins. His biggest interest by far was in people, he mostly wanted to do social things like Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering and a deep appreciation for Hip hop and Rap. He relaxed by listening to jazz greats like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charley Bird Parker, Louis Armstrong. Though not an athlete per se, He took an interest in following the Boston Red Sox and the Celtics.
Above all else, Heru was dedicated to helping people in need and was always accepting of others. He volunteered at the Open Door Soup Kitchen often and cared about assisting homeless and disabled people. His non judgmental, thoughtfulness was a wonderful example to his family. He was truly a special, spiritual gift to his family and he is already so missed.
In addition to his mom and stepdad, he leaves his sister, Lavender Lippmann of North Hampton, MA; stepbrother, Phoenix Mast Lippmann of VT; grandparents, David and Martha Chamberlain of Winsted, Carrie and Greg Delaney of Winsted, Denise (Gary) Robertson of GA and Darr Dihaan of NY; His great grandmother Lorraine Cuatt of winsted. many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his dad, he was predeceased by grandparents, Robert Robertson, and Paul and Fran Lippmann, John and Marion Vaccari.
Friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 4 - 7 PM. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Norfolk at 11 AM.
