Holly Marie Chafins (Belt), 49, born and raised in Marion, Ohio unexpectedly passed away on September 2nd, 2025, at her home, whom she lived with a very “special” friend, Faith Dial. Holly was born July 6th, 1976, and was a graduate from Ridgedale Highschool in Marion.
Holly’s main hobbies were doodling, writing letters, and loved arts and crafts. Holly was a “homebody” and did not like to be social, but loved to be surrounded by her children and loved ones. She also loved to have pictures of everyone. Holly will be missed by many.
Holly is survived by her parents Gary Lynn Belt (Nora Belt), and Brenda Jean Yost. Three children, Cherokee Jade Sayre (Paul Wayne Sayre), Jacob Benjamin Michael Chafins, and Maria Kay Chafins; brother, Curtis Kincaid; aunts and uncles, Clifford “Cliff” Kincaid, Anna Snyder, Christina Ferguson, and Walt Yost. Holly is preceded in death by her boyfriend Harold William Brown “Billy Brown”; grandparents, Linda “Kay” Belt, Jacob “Jake” E. Belt, Clifford E. Kincaid, and her brothers, Kendal and Allen Kincaid. All beloved cousins and friends and some who are no longer with us.
Holly started attending church and currently had been going to Baptist Enterprise Church here also in Marion, Ohio.
There will be a graveside service September 30, 2025, in the Marion Cemetery at 2:00PM. Donations can be made to the Baptist Enterprise Church, or to the SID’s foundation. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.cremationservicesofohio.com.
