Holly Francis, 79, Columbus, passed away on November 1st 2024.
Born in Chillicothe, moved somewhere warm as soon as the kids were out of the house. World traveler. Would have loved to commute between Paris and beaches. Worked at Duke University for the last decades of her working life, then traveled whenever able.
Loved her family, friends, reading, cooking, gardening, voting. Hated raspberries, needles, fascists.
Survived by son Mark (JoVonna); granddaughter Kensington; grandson Jaxon; sisters Becky, Debbie, and Nancy; brothers Ed and Steve; also many nieces and nephews.
There will be private memorials in Ohio and North Carolina. Donations may be made to the Blendon Township Senior Center, 6330 S Hempstead Rd., Westerville, Ohio.
