Howard Ray Messerly, Sr., age 74, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, in Chambersburg, PA.
Born Saturday, December 16, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, he is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Messerly who he married on Sunday, September 10, 1985.
Howard was a lifelong car enthusiast. He loved hot rods and worked as a mechanic his whole life.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by two sons, Howard Messerly, Jr. and wife Meghan of Warfordsburg, PA, William Messerly and companion Mallory Swope of Warfordsburg, PA; special lifelong friend and brother in life, Edwin Gregor Sr. of Baltimore, MD; seven grandchildren, Brianna Messerly, Alexis Messerly, Ryland Messerly, Oliver Messerly, Autumn Messerly, Howard Messerly III, and Kylie Ritchie.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
