Huldah Jean Smith

Huldah "Jean" Smith known as Jean, peacefully passed away on October 20, 2023 at 89 years old. She was born on April 17, 1934, and was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Gene and Huldah Stuart, and her beloved husband, Rollin, whom she was married to for 53 years. Jean was a loving mother survived by her 8 children: Rollin Smith Jr. of Sweethome Oregon, Charlotte Smith of Cottonwood California, Susan Boswell of Wrangell Alaska, Linda Mason of Englewood Florida, Roxanne Drysdale of Redding California, Kenny Smith of Wrangell Alaska, Ricky Smith of Redding California and Lila Lauenroth of Shasta Lake City California. Jean also leaves behind 31 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grand children. Jean is also survived by her brother Richard Stuart of Anderson California. Jean graduated from Shasta high school in 1952, was a long time resident of Shasta County, and began her career as a Telephone Switchboard Operator, Jean was a professional level Seamstress, a wonderful homemaker and mother, as well as a devoted member of the Jehovah's Witness faith for the past 50 yrs. The service for Jean will be held at the Kingdom Hall on November 4th at 2 PM, located at 4125 Main St. in Shasta Lake City California. All are welcome to attend.
