Irena S. Cebulski

With a heart full of faith and a life lived in selfless love, Irena S Cebulski, a devout Catholic, was called home to the Lord on August 31, 2025, the day that marked the beginning of her eternal peace. Born on January 1, 1946, in Chyzne, Poland, Irena's journey of 79 years came to a serene end at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.
Irena's life was a beautiful journey with devotion to her family and her faith. She shared a blissful marriage with her beloved husband, Frank Cebulski, who stood by her side in a bond of endless love. Together, they raised a family that became the center of Irena's world. Her daughter, Cindy Maka, and her son, Randy Cebulski, were the lights of her life. Her children's spouses, son-in law, Chris Maka and daughter -in -law, Magdalena Cebulski, were embraced as her own, and the joy of her life was multiplied with the arrival of her cherished grandchildren, Holly Maka and Ryan, Olivia, and Liam Cebulski.
Irena lived out her beliefs through acts of love and thoughtfulness that extended far beyond the walls of her church. Her prayers were offered through the rosary and Mass and were a source of strength for those in need. In every role she undertook, Irena was the embodiment of love. As a wife, she was a partner in every sense, sharing both the burdens and the joys of life. As a mother, her guidance was gentle yet firm, raising her children to be individuals of character and grace. As a grandmother, her hugs were warm and comforting. In every moment, Irena's thoughtful nature shone through, as she always put the needs of others before her own.
The memories with Irena will live on in the countless lives she touched, in the love she so freely gave, and in the faith that was the cornerstone of her existence.Her life was a journey of love, faith, and service, and her story does not end with her passing but continues in the hearts of those she loved. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her soul be uplifted by the prayers of all who cherished her.
