It is with profound love that we share the passing of our Father, Jack J. Cronce, Age 89, on August 2nd, 2024.
Jack was born on February 5th, 1935 to Louis and Gladys Cronce in Shawano, WI. Jack was primarily raised on their family farm. Jack attended and graduated from Clintonville High School in 1952 and went on to join the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was ordered to serve his country aboard the USS Wasp CVA-18 Air Craft Carrier from 1953 to 1956 and received an Honorary discharge. After his service he pursued a carrier selling Steel Tubing for Great Western Steel and Block Iron Steel until his retirement. Jack's favorite activities included woodworking, hunting, fishing, supporting Military veterans, and spending time with family and friends. He loved country music and he danced the Polka, Waltz and the Jitterbug.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Gladys Cronce, his youngest daughter Marjol Cronce, his sister Joyce and her husband Cy Gruenstern, his brother Donald Cronce, Jeanne Cronce ( wife), Karen Cronce (Wife), his nephew Steven Cronce and his niece Teresa Cronce.
Jack is survived by his children Gail ( Cronce) Belling, Troy Cronce and Sue, Sharee (Cronce) Gehrman and husband Terry, 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Service will be held for Jack on August 17th, 2024, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1451 Green Valley Road, Neenah, WI 54956. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 2p.m. followed by a service and military honors at 2 p.m.
