Jack Hitsman Obituary
In his early years, Jack was employed at Bergsma Furniture and retired as a skilled cabinet maker for Conn-Lowery Organs, which manufactured fine musical instruments. Jack was a lifelong learner when it came to fishing and hunting. He was always known to many as being funny, kind and gregarious.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Jack was the beloved husband of Debra Ann Hitsman for 42 years; devoted father of Terrance (Leslie Jones) Hitsman, Kelley (Kenny) Raymond, Jennifer Hitsman, Nicole (Jeff) McCollum, Mathew (Maggie) Hitsman, and Ashley (Auston) Williams; cherished grandfather of twenty-one grandchildren: Isabelle, Julia, Austin, Anthony, Kodde, Harley, Ethan, Hailey, Taylor, Blake, Benny, Annabelle, Jace, Ellie, Landon, Nevaeh, Jaxson, Haizley, Rhea, Bentley, and Jack. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren, Ariella and Nadia; sisters, Lynndean, Diane (Sid) DeCoster, Sherry Scott, and Paula Hecht; brothers, Butch (Robin) Hitsman, and Carl (Donna) Hitsman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
