Jack Novak

Jack Novak of Deerbrook, died on August 30, 2025 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 60 years old. He was born on September 12, 1964 in Antigo, a son of John and Rose Marie (Rohacek) Novak.
Due to health problems Jack was not able to finish high school, but later attended the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, graduating with many honors and awards.
Jack had a passion for teaching, and for more than 28 years taught at Antigo Middle School. He taught Social Studies and took pride in educating his students about the world. He enjoyed gardening and put a lot of time and effort into growing his vegetables, flowers, and fruit trees. Even though Jack battled with arthritis throughout his life, he still enjoyed riding his bike and being active.
Jack cared very much about others, always helping those in need. He was there for his family and friends, and will be missed forever.
Survivors include a brother, Edward (Nataliya) Novak of Denmark; nephew, John Novak of Denmark; girlfriend, Eileen Hartl of Antigo; aunts, uncles, many cousins and good friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 3 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Deacon Andy Bures officiating. Private burial will take place in Bohemian National Cemetery in Neva.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
