Mykayla Marie Novak

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Mykayla Marie Novak, who left this world on October 6, 2025, at the age of 29, following a courageous five-month battle with liver failure.
Born on August 11, 1996, Mykayla was a radiant and adventurous spirit. She was the beloved daughter of Pandy Novak and Mick Novak, and a devoted sister to Bennett Novak and Sondra Novak.
Mykayla found joy in the outdoors, especially through rock climbing and disc golf, where she thrived in challenge and connection with nature. Her greatest love was her dog, Annabelle, who was her constant companion and source of comfort.
Since 2019, Mykayla worked at Twin Liquors, where she was known for her warmth, dedication, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her colleagues and customers will remember her for her kindness, humor, and infectious smile.
A special mention goes to Phil Sutton, whom Mykayla lovingly made part of her chosen family. Phil stood by her side through every step of her illness and was with her at the end, offering unwavering support, love, and strength.
Mykayla was known for her boundless compassion and generosity of spirit, one that embraced everyone around her with warmth, compassion, and generosity. She made people feel seen, heard, and loved, and her kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her. During her five-month battle with liver failure, she touched the lives of countless nurses and doctors, who were deeply moved by her strength, grace, and spirit. Even in the most difficult moments, Mykayla's warmth and gratitude shone through, leaving a lasting impression on every caregiver who had the privilege of knowing her. Special mention goes to the staff and doctors at Methodist Specialty and Transplant in San Antonio and St David's Round Rock especially Dr. P.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Mykayla's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A Joyous Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on November 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at The Stage Austin Theater 6134 E Hwy 290, Austin, TX 78752
