Dr. Card had an enormously positive impact on me. I was fortunate enough to be her Graduate Assistant at UMC in 1987/88, and our work together opened a lot of doors for me. I'm writing this where I live in Vancouver Canada and sending you so much love and gratefulness always Jackie. ❤

I was told when I was a child that all the people we loved that went before us, and all the puppies and cats we had and loved would be waiting at heavens gates for us. I like that thought and in my mind's eye and heart I see that for Jackie. It southes our hearts as we know Jackie will be smiling.

It has been a priviledge to be Jackie's friend. I only wish she could also read the many compliments and love her friends and family have expressed. She lived life to the fullest as so few do and we all see how deeply loved she has been. She left too early but one day others will live longer because she led the way in cancer research.
