Jacob Ryan Keene

Jacob Ryan Keene, 25, suddenly left this life on Friday, January 26, 2024. Born on June 13, 1998 in Chesapeake, Virginia where he was currently residing.
Jacob grew up in Virginia Beach. He attended Tallwood High School where he was voted Homecoming Prince by his peers during his junior year. Jacob also played on the Varsity Soccer team. He officially began his career with Domino's Pizza at the age of 16, however he joined the Domino's family at a much younger age when he'd help his father, then a store manager, with fun advertising events. His accomplishments over the years include: General Manager of the year for Virginia in both 2022 & 2023, Rookie Manager of the year for the East Coast Region for 2022, #1 Top Gun Service in 2021, 2022, and 2023. During his tenure as General Manager, his store out of 53 stores was #1 in average delivery times along with four record sales weeks. He was also Virginia's fastest pizza maker in 2023. The only corporate team member to make it to the East Coast World's Fastest competition out of 289 locations. He was in line for a big promotion after his training was complete. He took such pride in his work in such a humble manner, he was a superstar.
Jacob lived his life to the absolute fullest, a quarter mile at a time. He was never afraid to try new things. Once he put his mind to something, there was no question that he'd become the best at it. Jacob was so passionate about so many things. He loved his people, fishing, working on his car, riding his bike, going to the beach, hiking in Shenandoah, playing Fortnite where he always "got the dub", & slinging pizza dough. You could always catch him with a cold one in his hand & ready for a game of beer pong. When he was younger, he was an amazing skateboarder, he could still land that kick flip. Jacob was quick with the sarcastic comebacks accompanied by his mischievous grin.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jennifer & Matthew Green and Joshua & Masako Keene. His beloved sister Alesha Keene. His twin brother Joshua Keene Jr and brothers Ryder & Phoenix Green. Grandparents Jules & Fran Kassar and Heather & Darrell Green. Uncles Jay Kassar and Douglas VanDiest. Nieces & Nephews Adellynn, Paisley, Kataleya, Ashton, & Julius. He was predeceased by his Grandmother Susan VanDiest. He leaves behind a community of friends, co-workers, and loved ones who will remember him as a genuine soul with an infectious smile that brightened every room.
Though he is no longer here on Earth, his presence will be felt in everything around us. We will find him in all the beauty of the world he loved and in the hearts of those that loved him. Rest easy Jakey. We'll see you in the sunsets.
The memorial service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Homes and Crematory- Chesapeake Chapel on February 4, 2024 at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
